well, i certainly have to consider your perspective, since low volume can be an issue. but i don't doubt we'll face these recurring themes at 12,000 on the Dow, and 2800 on the Nasdaq.

stephen, I've heard that oil prices will and have already have fallen from several sources. Heck a gallon of Unleaded Supreme has gone down from $1.89 to $1.69 here is SF! On what are you basing your doom & gloom forecast or do you have your own agenda with your bleak outlook on the market? Just need to bring a bit of reality to the thread and say that the bull market is not dead and won't be for the foreseeable future, despite Y2K and the inflation scare talk spread by the media.
