OT> Welcome HOME Boddington. . . glad to have you join us. . .hope we can find that 'next big winner' together.

I guess I am going to have to live down that cheap shot at Vancouver. . . honestly, I have seen some gorgeous pictures from there. . . maybe the mayor can send me a plane ticket.

Of course, I would have to go incognito. . .too many on the Vancouver exchange that are mad at me for spoiling their penny scam parties. . .I don't think anyone has been more outspoken about those than I.

I still use my Kramer 6000 bass. . . only just in studio these days, and very seldom at that. . .too heavy to play live. . . gives you a neck cramp. . . .those hardwoods. . . remember it had the aluminum neck with the inlaid ebony and mother of pearl. . .Di Marzio P-Bass and Jazz Pick-ups, Schecter machine heads, Badass bridge. . .active electronics. . .

That aluminum neck is actually quite amazing. . .I used to put the bass in the trunk and drive to gig in winter in sub-zero temps. . .take it out. . .just about freeze my hands trying to play that aluminum neck. . .would have to start playing off a half tone, due to the neck being so cold. . .and about half way thru the first song, I'd be stretching the strings to play the quarter tones until it was fully warmed up by the start of the second song in the original key and get this. . .

PERFECTLY IN TUNE.

LOL. . .That neck would expand and contract easily, but then hold its intonation so very well. . .it was amazing. . .sitting about 10 feet away right now and I'll bet you five bucks it is still in tune. . .almost 20 years old now. . .

I used to joke about not needing to tune up. . .it was tuned at the factory.
