KalKan - Re: "your wishing of more AMD losses is somewhat irrational. If it is true that AMD is dumping, both Intel and AMD will suffer"

AMD suffered with ASPs plummeting to $78 last quarter, incurring a $128.4 MILLION LOSS - when they dumped their K6-2s.

Intel EARNED a PROFIT of $2,000,000,000 ( $2 BILLION ) that same quarter despite AMD's dumping.

Intel's new products - Pentium ///s of 450, 500 & 550 MHz, and Pentium /// Xeons of the same speeds as well as 400, 433 & 466 MHz Celerons and Whitney chip sets, etc., will help Intel maintain their profit levels, despite AMD's dumping.

Intel's new products are in volume production as well.
