Future Headlines: NATO Stray Missile Hits Foggy Bottom!

It would get interesting if Judicial Watch files some FOIAs re: Kosovo War ... "I cannot recall ... The documents have been misplaced ... I have no recollection ... etc, etc. "

Goldsnow,

This was an interesting article of yours but... Humph, I can't believe you're living 50 miles off Moscow --as you seem to hint at in your previous posts.

THIS WHOLE NATO OPERATION IS NOT JUST A ''BILL & MADELEINE'' INITIATIVE!!

When is it that you, Americans, will get it: NATO's European members didn't mandate NATO for a ground intervention! Some countries, especially France, are even reluctant to a full-fledged storming of Kosovo. It's been a tough play for the US to start this whole operation under the NATO umbrella but do you think it'd have been easier for the US to go in alone --a solo venture in the Balkans??

It may sound frustrating to most isolationist-minded Americans but the US MUST take into account the opinion of their European partners in dealing with this Kosovo mess!!

Hopefully, the Clinton Administration seems to have brilliantly maneuvered to pull off a ground operation --at long last!

Gustave.
