The fact that GNET had a pro-forma profit last quarter is great--and a real contrast to the large majority of net properties. (The NYT is brain dead on this.) It is a real testament to the GNET business model of concentrating on high-traffic, largely automated web properties. What is even better is this statistic:

"The Go2Net Network's growth rate in terms of reach was approximately twice the average growth rate of the top 10 Web properties and more than five times the growth rate of the Web overall."

This before the Paul Allen investment and the recent acquisitions. Think about that when you decide where to park your money.
