1) I don't eat Wheaties.

2) The last time I studied English, quotation marks were to be used to contain the words of the one being quoted. Since Gottfried asked no such question, as quoted above, a better question might be why would someone attribute a perfectly sensible question to someone who never asked it?

If the answer is not easily found, I certainly understand.
