<plus the seasonal shift on gas points to 1.50 a gal prices. < While $1.50 isn't out of the question, it probably wouldn't change the CPI a whole lot. It will be balanced by falling prices on the west coast starting in between now and July. Because of a couple of refinery fires on the left coast(that was the excuse at least) prices in the west and southwest reach $1.80 in April(from 1.10 in March). These are going to come down and will help modify increases in other areas.
