Darrell Youngblood, >>> It explains in detail a case that is similar to this one. As to why the Dept. of Justice has not brought charges against Wen Ho Lee, I can only guess. <<<

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but there is no charge against this person and there is nothing except the NY Times saying that this person is a suspect. That does not constitute guilt of any kind. If this man is guilty, I want to see him punished. But if he is not guilty, you can't just wish that he is guilty, and go around telling people that he is guilty.

You would not want people doing that to you - make up some story about you and not charge you with anything (or give you a chance to prove that you are not guilty) and keep spreading rumors about you. If you did something wrong, someone has to make a charge (such as on such and such date you passed some illegal material into the hands of so and so and received so and so in payment). If I can't make that statement and have supporting evidence, I can't go around saying you did such and such because I want to beleive you did such and such. In my mind that is the basis of our rule of law - and if you make exception for it, we completely undermine our system of justice and help to destroy our way of life. (I'm outta here).
