I bet we'd be surprised how little IBM has sold to the Amazons and Yahoo's and eBays. My guess (and it is a real guess) is they rely heavily on Oracle databases, Netscape and Apache commerce and Web servers running principally on Sun.

IBM sells into the corporate establishment. The "Strategizing & Pondering 500."

I have to hand it to Lou, though. He has brought alot of IBM's incredible technology into the light of day and he doesn't care who's name ends up on the final product.
