Well I listened but didn't learn. Just a bunch of the usual, "It's great for the customer and the customer is what counts..." stuff. We're not missing anything in our analysis. It's a very confusing deal for everyone. Nothing appears to be any different.

US West is just hoping to be the very first Baby Bell to get approval for long distance. But in reality they don't have much to offer in the way of getting FCC approval. Just the usual, "We have complied already, etc.."

I do have to say, Global takes long distance one step further and GBLX's CEO says, "Not only do we want LD for North America, we want US West to be able to offer it to the world." I'm sure this will make the FCC pretty happy.<G>

Well that was my opinion of the interview.
