>which sector will sell off more during recession
the overpriced techs
the overpriced retailers<

That's an easy one. The most OVER priced sector will sell off the most. Of course that's only if logic ever comes into play. <g>

Techs will get hit worse. You don't have to have a new monitor and faster internet access.- but you gotta eat, buy clothes, etc.

What about the overpriced brokerage stocks? A faint whiff of inflation and rising interest rates in the breeze on Friday, and they were running from this sector like scared jackrabbits. Ditto on the big banks.
