Denis,

Wi-LAN's products would have been ideal for connecting you to the Internet using the cable modem from a neighboring community.

We have a trial in Edmonton with Videon connecting some businesses that do not have access to cable to Videon's head office.

I do not see any unsurmountable problems in the path to high speed mobile applications. We have to complete the development of a single ASIC; we have to develop an efficient power management scheme (or borrow one from cellular technologies) to conserve battery life; we have to work with a PDA company to develop a high speed wireless PDA. These are more like milestones and less like problems.

All the best,

Hatim
