Paul, Re: The Kmart 63 dissipates 29.5 watts at 450 MHz.

What is the number for Dixon and Coppermine ?

For my own education. TIA.

Paul,

K7 is a different architecture from K6-III. It seems rather pointless to make speculative comparisons of power consumption between two unrelated designs, particularly when it is obvious that the K6-III L2 cache is drawing way too much power. K6-2 runs at much lower power consumption.
