From my reading on the Taiwanese site, it would be Q4 before
we can expect some real thing in the channel, very much like
K6-III.

That is why I fell these annoucement guess 'not interesting'
as they can announce in whatever way they want. My guess is that
they would push the date close to end of June to add some
positive spin for the Q2 result which can be pretty bad.

You are absolutely right about the OEMs.

Rumor has it that AMD has a *ton* of WIP to alleviate these concerns. Let's see. Time will tell.
