It still doesnt refute the FACT that more companies fail through expanding too rapidly than for any other reason. Shall we take the example of AOL or the example of 90% of businesses that have failed in the last 20 years? (if you're long any of the internuts, i guess you have to take the first example as the gospel if you want to sleep at night- or if you're an underwriter)
