DISGUSTING! Watched the hunt on Cable news this AM....poor whale was blowing hard and spinning trying to elude the assassins and dislodge the harpoon. nwcn.com

cnn.com In this picture, they media fails (or unethically fails) to show that there was a powerboat firing harpoons at the whale and the shooting .50 caliber rifle at the poor creature. There was little traditional about this hunt. It seems the only requirement was for the Indians to stick the whale enough to drag the boat then the US Cost Guard killed it. This gives the Indian Nations a bad name.
