I think Yahoo wants to use Geocities and Broadcast as personal communications platforms. Living current family albums as it were. A place where friends and relatives can freely go to see and hear the latest home videos, pictures, etc. The business-to-business potential here is large, too. I wouldn't be surprised to see Yahoo move aggressively into personal finance, either. Jerry Yang has spoken often about the area as fertile for them. Mutual and money funds, home banking, etc.
