Technology Stocks : eBay - Superb Internet Business Model -- Ignore unavailable to you. Want to Upgrade?

EBay really should do more to enable the international market. For example, there is a huge potential in the UK that is currently untapped. Sure, you can get a filter to display "available in the UK", but that just eliminates all the good deals because no private sellers want the hassle. To participate fully a buyer currently needs
- a US $ checking account
- a US mailing address.

EBay should provide
- escrow accounts that international buyers can top up with a credit card (this would speed up domestic transactions as well - I am sure there are a load of buyers out there who would rather do the transaction online)
- international shipping that can be arranged by the buyer, to circumvent the "no international shipments" label that is attached to most auctions at present.

Doug,

In light of your analysis, are you buying or holding shares of e-bay?
