As usual, I am in basic agreement with Barge's well-written and well-thought-out post.

The only thing that I might add, in further agreement with Barge's position, is that the WAVX relationship with Sarnoff is an additional positive factor in judging the probability that these STB's are WAVE/EMBASSY equipped. Since Sarnoff-developed systems are the major data/programming schemes that are and will be used by the broadcasters, the announced WAVX-Sarnoff relationship puts us further into a key strategic position on the reception/STB end as well.

The only thing that I take slight issue with is the comment:

> > >---BY THE WAY, TAKE A LOOK AT THE PASTE BELOW FROM THE ABOVE ANNOUNCEMENT. NOTE THE "CANNED HP.....TURSTED CLIENT>" LINE. A PRETTY REVEALING REVEALING SCREW UP WHICH PROVIDES MORE EVIDENCE OF THE SIGNIFCANCE OF HP. < < <

I don't think the inclusion of HP is accidental or a screwup. IMHO it is intentional and is a conscious part of the company identifying itself with its HP partnership on which EMBASSY is based.

My thanks to Barge for his usual excellent job.

Steve
