arthur-

Does not institutional money usually flow into the acquiree (DELL) and from the acquirer (IBM) when a merger is announced? Therefore, would it not follow that institutional money would flow OUT of IBM on such a merger announcement? Which appears to be the case today.

as of 10:46 est dell has positive on balance volume of 1.6 million shares...ibm has negative on balance volume of 83,000 shares...this does not indicate the money flow trends that you show...
