Thank you for that specific comment on how Spectrum and Kodak are going to relate. I presume that the "Detroit Board" is a product that carries some sort of list price. Of course Kodak has some sort of volume deal, but if one could follow the development of Kodak sales for their processing system that uses the "Detroit Board" one could estimate the sales impact on Spectrum. Was that $800,000 order that was left on the dock and shippped in the following quarter a Kodak shipment? Does anyone know the pricing schedule for the Detroit Board?
BTW, if I recall, there was an effort by Seattle Film Works (or someone) to provide conventional film processing with conversion to digital imaging where the digital image was available on line for downloading rather than through a hard copy delivery on a CD. One of the keys to the relative competetive merits of the two digital image delivery methods is how fast you can get the image and how convenient it is to view the digital image.
