From EBN: May 10, 1999, Issue: 1159 Chip turnaround in full swing techweb.com From the STM article, it is interesting that STM did not mention networking and storage where LSI is huge. Nor did they mention workstations like SUNW and SGI. They also did not mention communications as in cell phones. I like the way LSI re-structured according to markets. Hopefully from now on both the analysts and us can guage the market progress a little better than before. Same for the last cc when they had different VPs from different divisions/market make presentations on their own turf. patrick
