Look at the top left line of your screen and you'll see a link to <inbox> with a number following it. <inbox> is where PMs directed to you wind up; the number is how many are waiting for your reading pleasure.

In order to receive PMs from other posters you will need to enable them on you r options page. Click on your profile, then click on update options and edit options. Then click the radio button that says enable PM from other posters (or words to that effect).
