Regis- I think I have an insight in to MRVC action. Take a look at the chart for AAPL- Apple computer. I have more than made up for my MRVC losses on AAPL, and that's a big brag. No one on the street has been willing to admit that Apple is not going out of business. A $billion in debt free cash, unit sales totally turned around for 6 quarters, a CEO that is a hard ass with a vision, and is leading the company in unexpected directions and succeeding. I made my money here buying before the big shows and quarterly reports. All the folks on the AAPL board knew great stuff was going to be announced (except that first MSFT deal, which was a total surprise, and the start of the turnaround.) We also researched the sales, and knew earnings would be super. Let's look at MRVC. Just a month ago, I was sure it would be hard to break $10. Now the word is starting to get out that MRVC is not dead. I think they are back with a vengance- but the "street" is not convinced. I expect we will advance on news, such as shows and earnings (?ummm...?), then pull back. This game will go on longer than anyone on this board will believe, imo. I plan on going to the well many times. My plan- pick up shares as cheap as I think I can before Supercomm. Then the stock will spike on great news, and decay until the next event that shows, yet again, that MRVC is not dead. Now, about those earnings- Does anyone have any idea how core MRVC gear is selling? I expect optics are assured. What about boxes? Jack? Do you have any feel for if MRVC is selling boxes? Problem is, how do we know what is going on in Europe? When we get a handle on sales, we will have this stock licked. Until then... Web
