Thanks for the post.

We are seeing some attempts by AFIS integrators to get into the commercial bio-ID market. First Polaroid, and now Sagem. I suppose NEC could be next.

However, they are very late entrants, and they do not hold technology advantages, or even business connection advantages. Let's think of them as the dinosaurs, and IDX/IDT as a little mammal, and see how things evolve.
