donald,
Thanks for your clarification, (not on your part, on mine!). It was very helpful, as am just short of time today.

I just decided that there are many pebbles on the beach, so I pulled all my short term longs out for a loss of less than $200. My only remaining longs are somewhat specualtive NG/Oil stocks which I may add to on weakness, but will hold till fall at least. I even took profits on good old NEM and will slowly leg back in on the way down. Unfortunately, the Brits so to speak got about half the profits, but hey, half a loaf is better than none<VBG>. EDIT I also bought the low and sold the bounce on NEM, so I am a pleased with that (unless it takes off w/o me, but not likely for a week or so).
So cash seems the cheapest insurance to me for now, all IMHO.

BTW donald, thanks for sharing your analysis on the thread,

Roebear
