Chris Jones' Email.

I also e-mail Chris Jones ~1 1/2 hours ago, w/ the source of information which I believed was correct. Below is his response followed by my original e-mail (thanks to both for letting me know Mr. Jones (hehe....had to) had replied. I'm not at home so I'm rarely checking my e-mail via telnet).

christopher -

thanks very much for the notes. i've been looking around to confirm this, and you're correct -- it was intertrust, not lucent, which made the deal with Universal. will correct the story asap.

regards,
chris j.

Rather, it appears Universal has teamed up with BMG and InterTrust Technologies. This latter information can be quickly

SUPER!
They have Lucent as a sponsor and Phil Ramone as a keynote speaker.
