Household Direct Announces Acquisition of Thunderstick Software, LLC
SOUTHBURY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 17, 1999--HouseHold Direct, Inc. (formerly RDI Marketing, Inc.) (OTCBB: RDIM - news) announced today that they have concluded the acquisition of Thunderstick Software, LLC, headquartered in Oxford, Connecticut.
Thunderstick Software is a prime provider of advanced system design, engineering, and e-commerce application software for such notable clients as Saatchi & Saatchi. Thunderstick designed and implemented the global extranet for Saatchi & Saatchi with customized integration for their client base including Hewlett Packard, Delta Airlines, Lexus, The Toyota Dealers Association, and numerous others.
Thunderstick is a prominent developer of Oracle and Microsoft Back Office applications, primarily in the Internet and e-commerce arenas. An emphasis on information architecture and data-backed website technology has led Thunderstick Software to be recognized as a leader of powerful and intuitive web-based systems.
In addition the Company has expertise in set-top box, digital television, MP3 and advanced media technologies. This expertise has been used to develop proprietary applications for clients such as the MegaPixel Display of Barco Chromatics (Belgium), the dynamic video product for the Star Greetings subsidiary of Iparty (NASDAQ: IPTY - news) and a pilot set-top box offering for National Telecommunications.

HouseHold Direct.com is continuing to implement the consolidation of the buying club industry on the schedule previously released.
