t2k,

Remember, the reason why MSFT is my #1 holding (by a long shot) is that the NASDAQ and the overall tech market WILL NOT MOVE SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER WITHOUT MSFT'S PARTICIPATION. This is the big reason why MSFT is indeed the best stock on the planet to own. It offers significant protection to the downside, and it propels the Market to the upside once its technical trading patterns play themselves out. It's interesting how the NASDAQ (and the techs, and the internets) have lagged the general market for the past month -- a month following MSFT's earnings report and split in which the stock (almost every year) needs time to consolidate and build its base for its next move upwards.

The NASDAQ will move when MSFT is ready to move, which luckily for us, will be in the near term.

Be wary, however, significant bad news will always override this momentum...
