Jim, if you can trade in four-figure share lots, you can spring for a few hundred bucks per month for Level 2. I guarantee you will never trade without it once you start. And it will pay for itself. Mine is free from E*Trade but my daytrading more than covers what I would pay anyway. VMIX - not enough stock on the bid or the ask to say. Very light, mostly 100 share lots but no size either way. Toss-up. With your capital, I would have a dedicated line to the best trading service I could get.
