The Yes Television vod service will include top movies, television dramas and comedies, children's programmes, music videos, shopping, travel and information services. Interactive service providers will include British Airways, TV Travel Shop, Dorling Kindersley, Iceland, Virgin Vie, Domino's Pizza.
Kingston Communications telephony customers who wish to subscribe to the new services will have a DSL modem and digital set top box installed. Costs of the service have yet to be revealed. The network will be configured using Internet Protocol (IP), for which the Yes Television service was developed. Yes Television is also scaleable and will be able to deliver MPEG2 at over 4Mbs on the Kingston ADSL network.
