I hit this thread to-day and being novice to technical analysis, I went thru about 300 postings on this thread to understand the methodology followed.

My understanding is that you have 8-17-9 MACD for entry and 12-25-9 MACD for exit;Provided the stock is in wave motion and not flat.
Further Stoch or RSI be used as confirmation tool.

Since I could not find in the posts read so far concerning settings on Stoch or RSI, I would appreciate, if you could give the look back period used for stoch and RSI. I assume these confirming indicators are used in conventional way of taking a buy signal when coming out of oversold condition of under 20 for Stoch and under 30 for RSI and taking sell signals when coming out of overbought condition of above 80 for Stoch and above 70 for RSI.

If you different rules please indicate that as well, so that I can get started on test run.
