Higher inflation is bullish, because it will allow companies to show sequential growth in EPS. For example, a company that had $1.00 per share in EPS will show $1.05 in EPS if prices rise 5%. If prices rise 10%, the same company can show $1.10 even if growth is completely flat. Yes, the macro environment truly doesn't matter since we've minted the new pair of dimes.

"They" sure are making a big show about today's FOMC meeting having some uncertainty, or even significance. MU's traded only about 700K shares so far -- all that "nervousness", that's it.

Hmmm, down hard two days before an FOMC meeting, oh my I just don't know what to do, the result from such a scenario was exactly the same only seven or eight times in a row over the past year, oh how can that guide me in trying to guess the market direction for the rest of the week, oh woe is me...
