DB must be playing momentum. Ride the winners, let go of the losers. He better have fast reactions though because I can see a total reversal happening in the near future. If he makes the switch in time he'll come out great but if he doesn't .. he lost himself the pot of gold we've been sitting on patiently all this time. :)

Anyone have any correlation technicals on CMGI and GNET? :)

quite possibly over sold by technical analysis , but by whom is pure speculation: Profit taking (for long time investors) and general market fear(for newer investors). In any case, you have sold an oversold stock to purchase one that is overbought. thats a crystal ball decision , good luck. LONG

Make that 3 that didn't and won't sell. I actually bought some more for my IRA where it will stay.
And will buy more tomorrow, if it dips.

Josef: Humble answers to your questions ...

"Many long time investors have sold."

This comment is based on an earlier post, some may recall, which re-enforced my own suspicions. So if you like, please file that one in the "crystal ball revelation" category. It is not based on fact, but speculation.

"Today, CMGI reminded me of GNET the day it moved to 199."

So why sell? I have bought and sold GNET several times over the last few months. The best purchase I made was GNET at 117, which I held and sold at 192. Since then I have bought and sold GNET on a weekly basis due to its slow decline. If I had been with GNET earlier and could fall back on a few hundred percent gain in the down periods, I would hold long.

It seems my post has caused a quite a stir. I do not favor CMGI over GNET. But the 14 or so posts following your humble questions makes me wonder if I am on to something.

Best Regards!
