More Thoughts from RB: By: Mr_Data Reply To: NoneMonday, 17 May 1999 at 5:56 PM EDT Post # of 13645 It's mighty tough to buck the trend of personality clashes on this board, and most serious JNNE investors would do well to hit the ignore button. That action would dislodge many of the bashers. If they get no response, they might go away. They only stay (and come back) if any of us respond. As for JNNE and the lack of serious movement on the stock price even after news is published, I believe you have to stand back and look at the big picture. JNNE has been hammering us recently with good news items. And every time news comes out, the stock price just lays there. IMO each news item is another small brick in the big structure JNNE is building. Watching someone build a house is very boring. But go away for a few weeks and then come back and see what has been accomplished. THEN, it becomes impressive. Anyone who is waiting to see a quick pop in the stock price whenever a news item is released (another brick) will be disappointed. Those who see the big picture, and understand that the alliances that JNNE is building, will understand that these things are foundational in nature. JNNE is not going to shoot up to $3 per share overnight just because GoOn-Line goes active. It may get a pop, but will fall back. The important thing to keep in mind is that JNNE is becoming more and more like a real listed stock. It will continue to be volatile like any other NASDAQ or BB company, but it appears to have graduated from the "play for pennies, quick buck" crowd. Take the frequent news for what it's worth. It's a sure sign that the company is making a sure and strong effort to become a real player in the US economy. Will JNNE be a $20 stock by the end of summer? Or by the end of the year? Not likely. But look at where you are right now. You can pick up as many shares as you wish at around 50 cents. Does anyone doubt that JNNE will continue to grow it's presence in the marketplace? Kiosks in every Days Inn in the US doesn't guarantee a pop in the stock price. Connecting with Yahoo for billing service doesn't deserve a pop. Hooking up with this marketing firm today doesn't rate a major move in the stock price. A pact to showcase Guthy-Renker's stuff, in itself, is a ho-hum deal. But all of these incremental pieces of the puzzle being put in place add up to a huge potential. The man in charge understands that this is a market niche with competitors. It is imperative that Mr. Naughton solidify all of these bricks if he wishes to be competitive. As a long term holder of JNNE, I am very empressed with the progress to date. And I have no intention of scurrying to my broker with a sell order if JNNE jumps up tomorrow or next week. Why bother. Just sit on it and wait. The true rewards will be handed out to those with patience.
