Andy, Avnet to Double ASIC Engineering Group to Address LSI Logic design Opportunities Avnet cranks out ASIC designs now? Man, the times they are a changin'. Besides the headline above, I like this part: ''Avnet had considered pursuing other intellectual property strategies with independent third parties, but has decided instead to fully devote its resources to work exclusively with LSI Logic on the fast-growing cell-based ASIC market.''
