KalKan - Re: "The big question is: Which core (P6 or K7) will scale better to high MHz?"

NO !

That isn't the question !

The question is: At the K7 launch, will the K7 beat Intel's current best or will it suck gas behind Intel's 550 MHz Pentium /// and Xeon ?

Customers buy TODAY's products , not some theoretical crapola scaled something-or-other core .

And Sander's comments about a 450, 500 & 550 MHz K7 - If true - could spell disaster for AMD - another ho-hum, expensive to produce CHEAPU from AMD.
