I think we just need moderate broad society policies and leadership rather than an adversarial system Yes and to add to your extinct list I have looked at a Raymond Royal Rife who invented a magnetic generator for treating cancer patients in the 30's and when he would not sell interest in it to a Morris Fishbein M.D. the good doctor used all the power of the AMA to crush this man and bury his ideas. The general theory is still being used although outside the U.S. for the same reasons (AMA) Another interesting researcher who was destroyed and thrown into prison was Dr. Wilhelm Reich and his famous or infamous Orgone Therapy research. His research survived in Europe. FDA this time. Sure some will say this is just conspiracy theory BS but just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean people aren't scheming and plotting behind your back.;))
