See, I knew we had the right dominatrix for you. Better pass them the good news. Bet they would love your tales as well.

Well, Paul, if we've really pushed you into it, there is a way you can publish incrementally and have people pay for whatever they want (or are otherwise forced) to read.

Wave Systems (WAVX) has an application of its "Trusted Client" WAVE/Embassy technology which allows incremental micropublishing and micropurchases of content, called MyPublish.com.

Wave announced MyPublish.com in cooperation with TheGlobe.com a couple of weeks ago in a press release that starts out:

> > >THEGLOBE.COM AND WAVE SYSTEMS OFFER INTERNET INDUSTRY'S FIRST E-COMMERCE SERVICE FOR THE SALE OF PERSONAL DIGITAL CONTENT

San Jose, CA, April 22, 1999 -- theglobe.com (Nasdaq:TGLO), a leading online network that integrates e-commerce, content and user interaction, and Wave Systems Corp., (OTC BB: WAVX; wave.com), a provider of electronic commerce, content distribution and security services, announced the first free personal publishing e-commerce service for digital content distribution on the Internet. theglobe.com will provide Wave's MyPublish community e-commerce service to its members who will have the ability to easily promote and sell digital content such as personally-created newsletters, subscriptions, images, audio, video, and software to other users from their personal web sites at theglobe.com. < < <

The full press release and description of the concept can be found at:

wave.com

A few people have actually set themselves up on the system and are publishing and selling serialized books, poems, technical data, etc.

I admit this off-topic, and also disclose that I am a WAVX stockholder, but now that we've decided that you are about to undergo a career change, we have to find ways to support this voluntary decision that we have all made for you.

Helpfully submitted,

Steve
