Agreed. Vignette is all about content management. Whether one is managing content in general or for customer service specifically, it doesn't make much difference. This is an interesting area with Silknet, Microsoft SiteServer, Vignette, the traditional client server vendors (Clarify, Vantive), and lots of ecommerce vendors.
