JAG, I don't mind you posting here. Of course, it isn't much better than what the regular members of the thread have put up, but I like having negative views here. I'll hold off of comments about OEM wins until I listen to the conference call tomorrow. OT - If you're looking for an overclocking system, sunshinestar.com has a package with a 300a guaranteed to reach 450 with an ABIT BX6 2.02 and a decent Celeron cooling fan for around $220. Not quite as fast as Pat's 500, but you're not overclocking the AGP and the PCI buses as well. I networked my new PC that I built to my old one and installed nat32 (from nat32.com ) so my wife and I can both link to the net via the 56K modem. Now I just need to get a card for her laptop and we'll have three all hooked up. Of course, after I saw Chip's wireless LAN with the T1 line I'll have to do better <grin - see, Chip, I'm still jealous>. I went with a D-Link 10/100 network in a box for $100 (which I think is a division of Creative Labs). If you have two computers in your house, networking is getting easy (via W98) and cheap. As for T?, I also read his apology. What an idiot. Talk about missing the point. He basically said my only mistake was not ignoring the critism and messing with Hook who has more firepower than me. Makes me wonder if his advertiser is getting worried that he has lost too much credibility. Speaking of credibility, since Jeremy of AGN will be providing the newsfeed to 3dfx's new site, I wonder where his loyalties will lie? This is why I subscribe to Consumer Reports. I find Consumer Union's politics too leftish for my taste, but I trust their reviews because they do not take money from advertisers. Michael
