Thanks Henry. The State of Florida could have settled this case honestly many years ago for a very modest amount of money. Because they fought our little Company with all of the power of the State, and used every underhanded tactic that a State can muster, I think that punitive damages are in order. I like the idea of treble damages. Let's see, the oil is worth $100 Billion so we ought to start with $300 Billion as our first offer <G>. I still like my $0.5 Billion up front to not drill with yearly escalating payments to continue to not drill. In the meantime, Coastal Petroleum should retain the mineral rights for as long as they are kept from drilling. Shareholders would reap a good market price immediately from such a deal and the State would pay out a pretty modest amount that they can carry on the books as a sort of loan. Such a deal...
