"Transocean Offshore Inc. (NYSE: RIG; OSE) said today that it has completed its previously announced reorganization and registered by way of continuation as a Cayman Islands corporation, effective Friday, May 14, 1999."

Did anyone ever figure out the tax implications of the RIG moving offshore and if this may have resulted in some selling pressure?? Something about not being able to carry a tax loss to the 'new' stock??

Bearish articles: I haven't been able to find any outside of Shell's problems - Refineries cutting back on operations due to poor margins. This will probably be Doomberg's/ANALyst's excuse to predict poor API numbers tomorrow.
