Warning to all daytraders... Contrary to the rumor some individuals are trying to broadcast, it is not established that GERN will be covered on national TV on Wednesday. The fact they are present at Bio '99 does not prove anything. I thought I would save you some time...and money. __________ Champolion

Richard, The unwashed masses still comprise the majority. They have a low experience level and expect the money to be easy. So they follow the gambling mentality of chasing momentum, chasing what's hot, chasing the tips, chasing the board crap. Since last October, that "strategy" could be working to some extent. But obviously it won't over the long haul and they'll be washed out. Perhaps "trader" was the wrong term. I wasn't referring to those doing their homework through TA or L2 or even Cramer-type counter-intuitive trading. I don't think "trader" or "day trader" are dirty words but they connote something real low class in the media these days since they refer to the many gamblers who are doing nothing more than pulling the slot machine handle.
