Why would analysts be "wary"?

GlobalStar Plans Low Tariffs for Satellite Phones, FT Says

London, May 17 (Bloomberg) -- GlobalStar Telecommunications Ltd., the U.S. Satellite phone company, plans a marketing strategy of low tariffs and subsidized handsets when it launches its $3.5 billion use-anywhere phone service later this year, the Financial Times reported, citing GlobalStar chief executive Tony Navarra. He said the group would be setting tariffs between 35 and 50 cents a minute, and expected the service providers to charge $1 to $1.20 a minute. These prices would be significantly cheaper than Globalstar's main rival Iridium LLC, and while analysts were wary, Bernard Schwartz, Chairman of Globalstar was more upbeat; ''Our biggest challenge is marketing,'' he said.
