Three rumors we reported have become reality US West (USW), Case Corp (CSE) and Wyman Gordan (WYG) all became reality this morning recieving bids....Raychem Corp. (RYC), soared, as the rumor we reported all week kept circulating the street and made traders take notice of the takeover story that was swirling about. The stock finished higher in a down market, and call option activity remained very active....Shares of Egames Inc. (EGAM) turned in a busy day on Friday as traders accumulated shares and await rumors of a positive announcement.....Shares of Digital River (DRIV) were rumored to be doing a major joint venture with Dell Computer (DELL) soon and DELL is rumored as a target of IBM.....Shares of Hollinger Int'l (HLR) were rumored to be making a very positive announcement.....Finally, shares of E.Spire Communications (ESPI) were rumored again as a possible takeover target.
