I don't really know if it was settled although it wouldn't surprise me. Usually cases like this are settled with a confidentiality provision that prevents the parties from revealing anything at all about the settlement. Some judges are balking at this if a large segment of the population is hurt by the non-disclosure. Otherwise, the courts usually approve confidential settlements as a way of clearing another case off the docket. I cited the case only because I thought the allegations were interesting and because I think a lot of stuff goes on that never sees the light of day. I'm bothered by why Fidelity would suddenly do an about face on a company that they have been invested in for years. Especially at a low point in stock value and the company in transition. It just strikes me as a form of "street justice" which punishes all ASPT stake holders. If someone can refute this factually, I will be glad to withdraw and correct my remarks in this regard. If not, I'll go on being paranoid and searching for clues in the public domain.
