Congratulation on a season that is shaping up! But really, however feckless this all is, it is not ideologically driven and deliberately cruel in the way that the Nazis were. Humanitarian considerations and the desire to establish the bona fides of NATO as a force for order in Europe and its periphery is a lot different from the search for liebensraum, the creation of a rigid racial order, the willingness to liquidate undesirable races, and the willingness to engage in total war from the outset. We have hardly killed anyone in 2 months, the Wehrmacht probably killed more Poles in two days. Do not lessen the evil of the Nazis by irresponsible comparisons....
