hi kemble:<just buy> as you know, many might be tempted to overdo their positions. Your enthusiasm can be wonderful, if they know you.
'''''Can you put yourself in the place of someone with $50,000 who wants to own just dell? What percent margin would you yourself use, if you were just starting.
''''''I am asking an absolutely sincere question, and would really appreciate it if you would respond. I am sure you have many around you, who you see in your travels, who are in such a position.
'''''I do not mean to ask an awkward question; just one which many here would like you to address.
'''''I am sure you know already, that we all know and love you!!!
'''''TIA

All eyes will be on Austin tomorrow.
lsjunction.com

Can MSD and an inspired, dedicated work force accomplish the impossible and lay these rumors of the "passing of the PC industry" to rest for once and all.
GTW did it.....
IBM did it.....
HWP did it today....
Lets see how successful is this Dan Niles who picked Muei In July of 1998???

Kemble, I for one, really appreciate your spirit. I hope tomorrow is a great day for earnings. It is hard to sleep the night before earnings! Go Dell!

those that go on margin have to understand
It's not necessary to margin to the hilt to get rich off this stock. With today's low commission rates just dollar cost average your way. I have a direct deposit of part of my paycheck to my brokerage account and do minimal timing of the buys. It worked for me.

OT* Hey Kemble - I know that you won't change - and I'm happy about that. You are undoubtedly as enthusuastic in everything you do. Marvelous! Maybe attaching this to the bottom of your posts will satisfy your critics! (vvvbg>

This post contains ''forward-looking statements.'' Kemble is including this statement for the express purpose of availing himself of the protections of the safe harbor provided by the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 with respect to all such forward- looking statements. These forward-looking statements are subject to risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially. These risks include, but are not limited to, Dells' dependence on the continued introduction of PC hardware and software; the cyclical nature of the PC market; the rapid technological changes which occur in the PC industry; the intensely competitive nature of the PC industry and its rapid changes in consumer preferences and frequent new product introductions; risks inherent to conducting international operations; and consumer spending patterns and prevailing economic conditions.
