Mike,

Indian Charlie is one of a long list of Baffert horses that showed terrific ability, but was put on the shelf prematurely due to injury. I'm not sure if it's a flaw in his training methods, bad luck, or an unwillingness to to take a chance on running talented horses with big reputations and risk defeat and a decline in value. (take the money and run) He does seem to have a little bit of a yellow streak. I'm not a big fan of Wayne Lukas, but that's something he knows nothing about. He'll run them anywhere, anytime, and against anybody.

Wayne

To All, Mikey Dell and His Happy Scamsters did a real tap dance on the Conference Call. Y2K? What Y2K? No slowdown in business. So, the slowdown in eps are just because you guys didn't manage very well? Nobody asked that question. But, then again, this was at the opium den itself, so clear minds and real questions are not expected. <g>
